Posted by Shannon Lyons
During the month of March, we want to take this opportunity to introduce you to some of the many great Women in Tech who work at Redfaire International and Partner Companies.
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m originally from Guadeloupe, a French Caribbean island. I went to University in Paris and Strasbourg. For my last year, I was on Erasmus at the University of Limerick. The following year I took the decision to move back to Ireland for good. After spending some time working in the northeast, I got this opportunity to join Redfaire.
How did you get started working with Oracle ERP?
I first learned about JD Edwards ERP when I joined Redfaire as a service desk administrator
What is your role?
I have recently started a new role as an Associate Distribution Consultant for Benelux customers. I help CTRM (Commodity trading, Transaction and Risk Management) customers.
What does your typical day look like?
During my typical workday, I resolve functional support issues logged by customers. I am always busy! It is a collaborative role, sharing advice and ideas so that we can find the best solution for our clients.
What is your favourite thing about your job?
I really enjoy helping our clients to simplify their daily tasks through better knowledge of the software. Every day I learn something new thanks to being part of a collaborative and focused team.
Any advice for graduates, particularly women who may be considering a career in Tech?
If you like challenges, a career in tech can give you a lot of opportunities. Believe in yourself and what you can achieve!
Tell us More?
I love travelling and I try to visit a new country every year. Last year I went to Hungary and I would like to go to Portugal this year.
