On April 9th 2020, JD Edwards announced the availability of Tools Release 9.2.4.3 and customer-driven application enhancements.
A range of enhancements are included which support new business processes in many applications across JD Edwards including Capital Asset Management, Financials, Grower Management, HCM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Order Management, Procurement, Project Costing, Quality Management, Real Estate, Service Management, and Warehouse Management along with legislative, regulatory, and localization updates.
With the wide range of enhancements added, Oracle are further proving their commitment to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and delivering high-value customer-driven enhancements that can be implemented with ease.
With this release, Oracle have now introduced a way to debug orchestrations faster and more easily for users. This new advancement allows users to run through orchestrations step by step and allows users to manipulate data for "What If" scenarios at any point, ensuring each step gets to run without error and with efficiency.
Users can now invoke a business function as a step. With this function, users can get a broader scope of any business logic available to orchestrations. Adding orchestrations or notifications directly as a step (without the need for a connector service request) allows for better user experience and less 'clicks'.
Other updates include:
User Experience
Platform Certifications
The JD Edwards EnterpriseOne deployments depend on a matrix of interdependent platform components from Oracle and third-party vendors. The product support lifecycle of these components is driven by their vendors, creating a continuous need to certify the latest versions of these products to give customers a complete technology stack that is functional, well-performing, and supported by the vendors.
Customer-Driven ERP Enhancements
ERP enhancements are focused on delivering high-value customer-driven improvements in user productivity, extending existing business processes, and delivering enhancements to support new business processes. Productivity enhancements focus on user experience and business process simplification while our applications continue to benefit from the ongoing JD Edwards Tools investment in page, personalization, watchlist, and notification frameworks to deliver a superior user experience. We also continue to extend existing business processes to support evolving or more complex use case requirements as well as focus on supporting new business processes through the creation of new applications and functionality.
With the continued support and updates from Oracle, JD Edwards has never been better equipped to enhance your business' digital transformation.
