Founding partner of Redfaire International, FSS, implements JD Edwards ERP system at global textile company SKINS in Europe, Australia & USA.

After successful go-lives in Europe and Australia, FSS, founding partner of Redfaire International, has helped SKINS US to go-live on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

The US go-live, which took place on March 1st 2016, was the latest phase in this international ERP project and included an implementation at the administration office in California and a third party warehouse site in Kentucky.  The first phase of the project was in Europe, with Australia following just four months after the European go-live. All projects were delivered
on-time and on budget.

SKINS management chose JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to replace an existing SAP platform. They chose JD Edwards because it is a future-oriented, scalable and global ERP.

One of the many benefits using JD Edwards has delivered to SKINS is that Warehouse & Sales Support employees no longer have to complete a lot of manual data entry, leading to considerable improvements in efficiency and productivity.  Previously, support staff had to enter order information manually in SAP Business One. The modern features of JD Edwards E1 have delivered significant bottom-line benefits for SKINS.

About SKINS
In 1996 a keen Aussie skier had a bold ambition – to develop a garment that would improve sports performance and aid recovery. Consulting with NASA scientists and other experts, it took five years of design, testing and finessing before the first pair of SKINS tights were launched in Australia in 2002.

Word spread fast that SKINS help you perform better and recover faster. Basically, they make you feel like a super hero – and look a bit like one too.  Pro athletes were the first to get into them and before long amateur athletes and weekend warriors joined the party.

The company has grown rapidly over the last decade, and continues to lead the innovation of the sports performance category it created, but our attitude has not changed a bit. SKINS’ mission is simple: to radically improve the world of sport, one pair of tights at a time. Let’s face it, when you’ve got a product that’s scientifically proven by numerous independent studies, you just say it how it is. No hype required.

Nowadays, SKINS’ global headquarters sit in Switzerland but their Aussie roots remain with a regional office in Sydney.  Global growth has also seen regional offices open in the UK, USA, and France and SKINS has a distributor network that spans every major region around the globe.
