Can I create my own dashboards with Tableau?
Yes, Tableau is a self-service platform which makes it easy to create your own dashboards.
We have multiple (ERP) systems. Can these all be combined in Tableau?
Yes, we use Tableau Prep to combine data from all relevant (ERP) systems, such that consolidated reports can be created in Tableau.
We have custom modules / fields in JD Edwards. Can these be made available in Tableau?
Yes, at the start of every implementation we define what additional data (on top of our standard) has to be made available in Tableau.
How much consultancy is needed to implement Tableau?
This depends on the scope/requirements. Before the implementation starts, we organize a brainstorming session to define the exact scope. After this, we create an estimate of the required consultancy days.
Do I need to free up many resources to implement Tableau?
No, we work with the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) approach, meaning that the implementation only contains the most important dashboards. As a result of this, and because our standard data model and dashboards already cover many topics, we don’t need much support in completing the implementation.
